Game Artist envisions, designs, and produces high-end concepts and experiences for millions of users. You will be leading and driving the overall vision of our game design processes together with the related conceptual designs. Game Artist Responsibilities:
  • Design visual concepts from scratch
  • Create game-ready 2D assets
  • Take part in the art direction and ideation 
  • Optimize and manage 2D visual resources efficiently
  • Support other parts related to 2D art (UI, VFX, etc.)
  • Support the game development process from A to Z with your creativity as an artist
  • Conduct visual-design related split tests

  • Processes and methods to optimize space usage of mobile art assets
  • VFX implementation and optimization techniques for mobile devices

Game Artist Requirements:
  • Relevant work or freelance experience
  • Highly creative problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, thirst for continuous learning, and delivering quality work
  • Capability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong & concise communicator of game concepts
  • Hunger and passion for making and playing games; being curious and thinking critically about why games succeed and fail
  • Open and flexible enough to receive & adjust design choices upon valid feedback, but strong enough to back your own ideas & opinions
  • Preferably a university degree in Visual Communication Design, Media and Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation or related field
  • Fluent in Adobe Illustrator or equivalent 
  • Work experience in the gaming (or similar) industry
  • Skills in animation and special effects
