We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and passionate VFX Artist for our roster. The VFX Artist implements video game special effects in accordance with a project’s artistic direction and production timeline. Because the visual effects are how the game design is conveyed to the end user; the ideal candidate should have strong artistic skills, and an understanding of the technical constraints on the target platforms.

What you'll be doing
  • Create all aspects of special effects artwork using a variety of particle systems
  • Create particle system templates and animation, textures, models lighting
  • Brainstorm novel creative ideas and solutions 
  • Optimize and manage VFX resources efficiently
  • Make VFX from concept art to implementing
  • Make 2D/3D objects for projectiles
  • Support other parts related to VFX (UI/2D Animation)
Where you'll grow

  • VFX implementation and optimization techniques for mobile devices

Qualifications
  • University degree preferably in Visual Communication Design, Media and Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation or related field
  • Relevant work experience
  • Must be proficient in industry required tools
  • Good knowledge of particles/dynamics systems, and special effects creation
  • Attention to detail, thirst for continuous learning and delivering quality work
  • Passion for creating and playing games, regardless of platform or genre
  • Able to take constructive criticism and keep up with changes
  • Solid understanding of color theory, lighting and scene development
  • Knowledge of VFX pipelines and general workflows
